One day at a time…

As I am growing older, I am realizing that my love for potato chips will make me a chip one day. This love story must tragically end. Or atleast for some time be “on a break”. (who got that reference?)

Its tough to acknowledge but I am inching towards 30 a bit more faster than I would have liked. How healthy am I though? NOT AT ALL. I still eat like a 19 year old. That is going to not go well very soon.

Now, a lot of people tell me, “what do you have to worry about? You aren’t fat!”. Well, I am and I just cover it up well. But more than that I want to get healthy now than repent later.

It is about losing weight, yes, but it’s more about being healthy enough to live a good life. Also, I WANT ABS. ahem.

*sigh*

So. I am about to do what I have never done. Go to a gym possibly. Do yoga. Drink lots of water and eat LOTS of salad. Swim and anything else I can think of. Bottom line, healthy is the way I want to go. Join in if you would like to.

But, most importantly, what I want to do is wake up at 5 every morning.

THAT is going to be struggle but I hear it takes 21 days to form a habit and therefore my 21 day journey is what I will be documenting.

Goals??

I want abs by the end of the year. I want to be able to do a headstand. And I just want to have a passion for being healthy.

Since hashtags are so “in” I have chosen to go with #21daystochange. Because I am cool like that. You can follow my journey on instagram @tanglesandteacups.

Will I fail? Who knows?

Why am I documenting this? Well, if I fail, its out there in the internet-verse. That should keep me going and trying to achieve the goal.

So, follow me here for how I go. Join in if you’re up for it. Together is easier. 21 days is all it takes to be on track.

Thats all guys.

See ya soon. Stay tangled. xx

  1. It is the will that is most important. I know you will succeed.
