We are all looking for the right fit… A pair of good denims can make your day go from bad to good. Pair it with a white shirt and you are owning it. But how tough is it for you to find a perfect pair of denims? Very? I can understand. I am an Apple shape body type with skinny legs and a slight hip. Finding a pair that fits me snugly is a struggle. To top it off, I am also tall which makes snug denims either too short in length or not snug at all. 

What most of us don’t realize is that not every denim suits every body type. Just because its a size 28 does not mean its a fit for me. So buying a pair of denims is much more than just going and buying it. The waist size matters, yes, but it should ideally fit you around the hips as well.

With the fashion scene changing again, skinny jeans are not the only options. For someone who prefers an A-Line can go in for a wide legged pair, boot cuts or straight denims.

I recently found my perfect pair with Levis. Today there are two kinds i’ll be showing you. One is a vintage dating back to my mothers younger days that still are as good as new! The other are my newest pair, that are so comfortable I can do my usual antics in them.

Wore my mums Levis from back when she was my age. They are in mint condition and oh so comfy. And to top it off, big fat emotional connect. A pair of denims and two generations. Wow.

With the skinny denims I have paired a white crop top, a cardigan and white keds. The perfect look to run errands on a weekend.

So yes, comfortable denims can also be styled well and worn with your quirk on. Go get your pair and remember all body types look great in denims irrespective of your size. So if you have chicken legs like me or a nice full pair you can totally rock it.
