5 essentials for a great winter!

Winters are here, well atleast they are knocking on the door. This means colourful wintery clothes, mittens, pompom caps AND good hair days!! Ofcourse, people who are perpetually always cold do not particularly like winters much. We feel you. But as long as you can look good while fighting off that cold feeling, its worth it.

Here are our 5 essentials to wear this winter that are easy on the pocket and puts that wide smile on your face.

– Long coats are a must. Invest a little in a good quality coat and it will go a long way! Recommendations are the classic houndstooth fabric, a basic tan or velvet (but be careful with the velvet, its for the grand affairs and looks great with a saree!) You can also experiment with colour, it looks fabulous!

– The Athletic esthetic is a must in your wardrobe this season. A girl needs a break from the “dolled up” too and the sporty jackets in shades of yellow, pink, purple and more is just the right choice.

– This year, Autumn Winter ’15, will see the 70’s come back to life with the colourful sweaters. For a while now we have seen the flared denims, plazzo pants, denim on denim in the glossies and winters will be no different. So go, grab a pair or fuzzy colourful argyle sweaters!

– Pompom caps!!! (Okay, I have a special kind of love for them, obviously.) They are cute, they keep you warm and they are have pompoms. You can never be “too old” for them cuties. A must have. Oh and get a nice fluffy scarf to go with it!

– A pair of comfortable and warm boots. You can get a pair of thigh highs, ankle booties, uggs, mid calfs and a number of other boots to complete that winter look!

Here is sneak peak into how we celebrated winter last fall and we are raring to go this season!
